Southern Kings Consolidated School was awarded the St Teresa’s School Environmental School Challenge by Lieutenant Governor Frank Lewis Friday. Since 2005 students have developed the 2.24km Southern Kings Nature Trail near the school, where students have had hands-on experience learning about natural resource issues. The $1,500 award will be used to help repair some vandalism that has been done to the trail.
