Remembrance Day Murray River 2020

About 50 people attended the Remembrance Day service in Murray River on a balmy Wednesday afternoon. Temperatures reached about 23 degrees Celsius, which was exceptionally warm for November 11th. Some wreaths were placed at the cenotaph during the service and others were placed later in keeping with restrictive limits on gatherings. The Murray River Fire Department was represented as was Belfast/Murray River MLA Darlene Compton, members of the military, both current and past and members of the public. Garnet Buell of Murray River placed a wreath on behalf of Cardigan MP Lawrence MacAulay. Heather Moore photo
