Representatives from the PEI Potato Board will be briefing the Standing Committee on Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability on the trade suspension of fresh PEI potatoes to the United States this Thursday.

Greg Donald, the board general manager and new elected chair John Visser will be appearing at 10 a.m. at the Legislative Chamber, Hon. George Coles Building. A previous appearance before the committee was postponed due to weather.

Speaker Colin Lavie recently announced changes that allow members to attend committee proceedings virtually should they choose. The proceedings are closed to the public but will be streamed on the Legislative Assembly website and Facebook page.
