Wednesday, May 17, is Wear Purple Day. It's part of Family Violence Prevention Week 2023.

Natalie Jameson, Minister responsible for the Status of Women encourages Island residents across the province to wear purple on Wednesday, and throughout the week, to help raise awareness and remember victims of violence and their families.
